# RAIW - Remove and check AI watermarks

> RAIW is a free online tool to detect and remove AI provenance signals from images (PNG, JPG, WebP). It checks for and strips C2PA Content Credentials, Google SynthID markers, the IPTC "Made with AI" label, generator metadata, the visible Gemini sparkle, and the China AIGC (TC260) label used by Doubao. Checking, visible-overlay removal, and metadata stripping are free; invisible-watermark removal (pixel regeneration) is $1.49 per image. RAIW detects provenance signals only. It does not run a pixel-level AI classifier and never declares an image human-made; the absence of a signal is not proof an image is human.

Key facts:

- Privacy: uploaded images and the results generated from them may be kept for up to 30 days to run and improve the service, then deleted; we never sell them.
