Online AI watermark remover

Remove AI watermarks
from your images

Clean your images with three powerful processing modes. Erase visible overlays, remove invisible embedded markers, and strip AI metadata and Content Credentials. Everything is processed quickly and securely on our backend. Supports PNG, JPG, and WebP.

Three ways to clean your images

Visible AI watermarks

Erase visual overlays – like the Google Gemini sparkle – cleanly. This mode processes securely online and completes in seconds.

Invisible watermark patterns

Remove hidden pixel-level markers like SynthID and the imperceptible watermark embedded in ChatGPT Images 2.0 (gpt-image-2). This mode uses secure cloud GPUs to run a diffusion process that disrupts the hidden signal while keeping your image looking the same.

AI metadata & provenance

Strip AI-related metadata, including EXIF tags, PNG text chunks, and C2PA Content Credentials. This helps reduce common signals associated with "Made with AI" labels. Fast and secure.

Privacy & processing summary

  • Standard processing is secure: Visible & Metadata modes run exclusively on our fast backend servers.
  • Invisible mode uses secure GPUs: Because removing hidden patterns requires heavy computation, we use dedicated cloud hardware.
  • Auto-deletion: Any file processed by RAIW is automatically and permanently deleted when the job is complete. We do not store or use your images.

How to remove AI watermarks from images

RAIW is an online tool that removes AI watermarks from images generated by ChatGPT Images 2.0 (gpt-image-2), Google Gemini, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, and Midjourney. It works with three types of AI watermarks:

1. Visible overlays

Sparkle logos from Google Gemini and similar visual marks are erased using reverse alpha blending with optional inpainting. Fast and secure.

2. Invisible markers

Hidden pixel-level markers – SynthID, the imperceptible watermark in ChatGPT Images 2.0 (gpt-image-2), and StableSignature – are removed via controlled diffusion that disrupts embedded signals while preserving visual quality.

3. AI metadata

C2PA Content Credentials, EXIF AI tags, XMP provenance, and PNG text chunks that trigger "Made with AI" labels are stripped automatically.

Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP file, choose a processing mode, and download the clean image. No signup required. Supports images up to 15 MB.

Frequently asked questions

Does RAIW remove the watermark from ChatGPT Images 2.0 (gpt-image-2)?
Yes, on both layers. ChatGPT Images 2.0 embeds a C2PA manifest signed by OpenAI – this is what triggers "Made with AI" labels on Instagram, Facebook, and X. RAIW strips it instantly in Metadata mode, free of charge. Images 2.0 also carries an imperceptible pixel-level watermark; RAIW disrupts it via diffusion regeneration in Invisible or All-in-one mode (1 free GPU request per day).
What does the tool actually remove?
Depending on the mode you choose, RAIW handles three different layers: visual overlays (like Gemini's stars), hidden signal patterns (like SynthID), and embedded file metadata (like C2PA). You can select specific modes or run the All-in-one cleanup.
When should I use standard processing vs. GPU processing?
If you only need to remove a visible overlay or strip metadata, use those specific modes–they are processed quickly and securely on our standard servers without extra cost. If you need to disrupt embedded markers like SynthID, you must use the Invisible or All-in-one mode, which relies on a cloud-based GPU.
What image formats are supported?
RAIW supports standard AI-generated image formats: PNG, JPEG, and WebP, for files up to 15 MB.
Is this tool free to use?
Visible watermark removal and metadata stripping are always free. Invisible watermark removal requires intensive GPU processing, so it includes 1 free request per day; additional requests cost $0.99 per image with no account required.
What happens to my uploaded images?
We prioritize your privacy. All files processed by RAIW are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers as soon as processing finishes. We do not retain any user images.
