Remove C2PA Content Credentials

Upload the original image and choose Quick clean. RAIW checks the file, removes a supported C2PA manifest and related AI-provenance fields, and returns the cleaned image for download.

1. Upload a PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, or HEIC image.
2. Run Quick clean to remove the supported Content Credentials manifest.
3. Download the result. Quick clean normally preserves the encoded pixels and dimensions; Standard output may resize a large image, and a container fallback may re-encode it.
4. Open the result in the free provenance checker and confirm that it no longer reports the supported C2PA signal.

C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) is an industry standard for embedding provenance data in media files. Content Credentials act as a digital manifest recording how an image was created (including the AI generator used, such as Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT Images 2.0, DALL-E, or Google Gemini).

RAIW focuses strictly on removing this manifest. It targets the JUMBF boxes in JPEG files and C2PA-related XMP metadata, effectively unchaining the image from its generated provenance.

Quick clean normally preserves the image pixels and dimensions while removing supported AI-provenance fields from the file container. Standard output may resize images above the free resolution limit, and a container fallback may re-encode the file. Choose Original resolution when dimensions must stay unchanged.

Adobe automatically applies Content Credentials to assets whose pixels are fully generated with Firefly, such as Text to Image output. Other Firefly workflows may differ, so RAIW checks the uploaded file before removing a supported manifest.

Since C2PA removal only involves editing file metadata:
