Privacy Policy

Overview

RAIW (raiw.cc) is a free online tool to detect and remove AI watermarks and provenance metadata from images. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. Questions? Email [email protected].

Your images

When you upload an image we process it to provide the service. We may retain uploaded images and the processed results we generate from them without automatic expiry to operate, secure, and improve our service until they are no longer needed or you make a valid deletion request we can identify. We never sell your images, and we share them only with the service providers listed below. For paid invisible-watermark removal the image is sent to our GPU processor (Modal) for the regeneration pass under Modal's own data policy.

What we collect

• Your uploaded image and the processed result we generate from it - retained as described above.
• A diagnostic record for an image check: a generated identifier, source filename, dimensions, country and locale, which page on our site you started from, library version, and the AI-provenance verdict and signals found. This record does not contain the image itself but can be linked to a retained image by its identifier.
• Feedback you choose to submit after processing: the score, processing mode, generated file identifier, country and locale, library version, and any optional comment you write.
• Basic server logs, including your IP address, used for security, abuse and rate-limiting, and to show local pricing.
• Anonymous usage analytics via Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. We do not show a cookie consent banner and run no advertising or cross-device tracking. If you are in the EEA or UK, note that analytics cookies are set without a consent prompt.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe processes the payment and may set its own cookies; see Stripe's privacy policy for details.

• Modal - cloud GPU processing for invisible-watermark removal.
• Stripe - payment processing.
• Google (Analytics / Tag Manager) - usage analytics.
• Cloudflare and DigitalOcean - hosting and content delivery.

No accounts

RAIW requires no account and does not ask for personal information beyond what is described above.

Data retention

Uploaded images, processed results, diagnostic image-check records, and submitted feedback do not currently have an automatic expiry. We keep them as a research and service-improvement corpus until they are no longer needed or you make a valid deletion request we can identify. Server logs (including IP address) are kept only as long as needed for security, abuse prevention, and rate-limiting. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics retention setting.

International data transfers

Our service providers (Modal, Stripe, Google, Cloudflare, DigitalOcean) may process data in the United States and other countries. By using RAIW you understand that your data may be processed outside your country of residence.

Your rights

RAIW has no user accounts, so locating a record may require information such as the generated file identifier, submission date, filename, or feedback details. We do not sell your personal information. For access, deletion, correction, objection, or another request under applicable law, including the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California), email [email protected].

Children

RAIW is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

People in images

Some images may show people. We do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification. Images follow the retention and deletion-request terms described above.
