Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
Acceptance
By using RAIW (raiw.cc) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What RAIW does
RAIW detects and removes AI provenance signals from images you upload: visible watermarks, metadata (EXIF/XMP, C2PA Content Credentials, "Made with AI" tags), and, for paid processing, invisible pixel watermarks via image regeneration. RAIW processes still images (PNG, JPG, WebP), not video.
Eligibility
RAIW is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using it you confirm that you are.
Acceptable use
You may only process images you own or have the right to modify, and you represent that you have those rights. You are solely responsible for how you use the cleaned images and for complying with all laws that apply to you, including any law that requires AI-generated content to carry a disclosure or label in your jurisdiction. Do not use RAIW to infringe others' rights, remove copyright or author information from works you do not own, misrepresent authorship, or for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
Best-effort removal, no guarantee
Removing metadata and C2PA Content Credentials is definitive. Invisible-watermark removal is best-effort: RAIW disrupts the watermark by regenerating the image, but no tool can guarantee an embedded pixel signal is permanently undetectable, and detection methods evolve. We never claim an image is undetectable.
Payments and refunds
Paid processing costs $1.25 per image (one-time; no subscription). If RAIW fails to deliver the removal we described for your image - for example, processing fails, you do not receive a cleaned image, or the watermark we offered to remove was not addressed - email [email protected] and we will refund that payment. The best-effort limitation above (an image may still be detectable by evolving methods) is not itself grounds for a refund; a genuine failure to perform the service is.
Warranties and limitation of liability
RAIW is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to RAIW is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RAIW and its operator from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, the images you upload or process, or your breach of these terms or of any law.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
