Acceptance
RAIW (raiw.cc) is operated by Victor Kuznetsov. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What RAIW does
RAIW is an experimental image-processing service. It detects and targets AI provenance signals in images you upload: visible watermarks, metadata (EXIF/XMP, C2PA Content Credentials, "Made with AI" tags), and, in All-in-one mode, invisible pixel watermarks via GPU image regeneration. Results vary by image and detection method. RAIW processes still images (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC), not video.
Eligibility
RAIW is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using it you confirm that you are.
Acceptable use
You may only process images you own or have the right to modify, and you represent that you have those rights and any permissions needed for people depicted in the images. You are responsible for your use of the output and for any disclosures or labels the law requires. Do not use RAIW to infringe others' rights, remove copyright or author information without authority, unlawfully remove or conceal required AI-origin labels, misrepresent authorship or origin, impersonate a person, evade a platform's rules, or commit fraud or any other unlawful act. We may refuse processing or access when we reasonably believe a use violates these terms or applicable law. These restrictions do not transfer our own legal obligations to you.
Your images and permission to process
You keep whatever rights you have in your images. You grant RAIW and the service providers named in our Privacy Policy permission to host, copy, analyze, modify, and return images as needed to provide the service, to retain and use originals for the research and service-improvement purposes described in that policy, and to retain results for support, subject to your applicable privacy rights. This permission does not transfer ownership to us or permit sale of your images. Do not upload material for which you cannot give this permission.
Best-effort removal, no guarantee
When those processing steps succeed, the output is expected to omit the targeted metadata and C2PA Content Credentials. Invisible-watermark removal is best-effort: RAIW attempts to disrupt embedded pixel signals through image regeneration, but detection methods evolve and results may remain detectable. An output without a provenance label may still require one under applicable law or platform rules. Metadata removal can also remove an Author or Copyright field when it shares a metadata block with a targeted AI field. Keep your original and verify that any attribution or rights information your use requires remains in the result.
Payments and refunds
RAIW charges a fixed price per image for paid processing with its experimental library and the computing resources needed to run it. All-in-one uses cloud GPUs; paid Quick clean uses standard server compute. The charge covers a processing run, not a guaranteed watermark-removal outcome. The exact one-time total is shown before checkout, with no subscription. If RAIW fails to deliver the removal we described for your image - for example, processing fails, you do not receive a cleaned image, or the watermark we offered to remove was not addressed - email kuznetsov.va@gmail.com and we will refund that payment. The best-effort limitation above (an image may still be detectable by evolving methods) is not itself grounds for a refund; a genuine failure to perform the service is. This policy does not limit any refund, withdrawal, or other consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Warranties and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RAIW is provided "as is" and "as available", without additional warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To that extent, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability for a claim relating to RAIW is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability or statutory consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify RAIW and its operator against third-party claims and reasonable related costs caused by images you upload without the necessary rights or permissions, your unlawful use of an output, or your material breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own conduct or where applicable consumer law prohibits this obligation.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of habitual residence where those protections apply.
Changes
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Changes apply to future use after publication and do not change the terms of a processing run already purchased.
