Jimeng / 即梦AI

Remove the Jimeng watermark

Jimeng (即梦AI) is ByteDance's standalone AI image generator. It stamps a visible text mark on generated images and embeds a China AIGC (TC260) metadata label. RAIW removes both for free: it reverses the exact alpha blend used to stamp the mark, recovering the original pixels underneath, and strips the AIGC metadata - no GPU and no signup needed.

What Jimeng puts in its images

  • A visible text mark - the text "即梦AI" rendered on the image.
  • A China AIGC (TC260) label - a metadata tag that flags the image as AI-generated under the Chinese standard.
  • No pixel watermark - Jimeng does not embed a SynthID-style invisible watermark, so no GPU pass is needed.

How RAIW removes it

RAIW locates the Jimeng text mark and reverses the alpha blend used to stamp it, recovering the original pixels instead of guessing them with inpainting. The mark disappears while the rest of the image stays untouched. It only acts when the mark is actually detected, so clean images are never altered. The AIGC metadata is stripped alongside any other AI provenance tags.

Jimeng vs Doubao

Jimeng and Doubao are both ByteDance products. They use a similar visible mark technique but with different branding text. RAIW detects and removes both automatically in the free mode - just upload the image and RAIW identifies which mark is present.

Frequently asked questions

Does RAIW remove the visible Jimeng mark?
Yes. RAIW detects the Jimeng text mark and reverses the alpha blend used to stamp it, restoring the original pixels. It only acts when the mark is actually detected.
Is Jimeng the same as Doubao?
They are separate products from ByteDance. Doubao is a chat assistant that generates images; Jimeng is a standalone image generation app. Both use a similar visible text mark (different branding) and RAIW removes both automatically.
Is removing the Jimeng watermark free?
Yes. Both the visible text mark and the AIGC metadata are handled on CPU in the free mode. Jimeng uses no invisible pixel watermark, so no GPU processing is needed.
What image formats are supported?
PNG, JPEG, and WebP. RAIW processes images, not video.
Clean a Jimeng image

No signup required. Visible and metadata removal always free. GPU modes cost $1.49 per image. Supports PNG, JPG, and WebP.
