Remove the LinkedIn CR badge from AI images
LinkedIn shows a 'Content Credentials' (CR) badge on posts that carry a C2PA manifest. RAIW removes the C2PA Content Credentials from your image — the badge disappears reliably.
What triggers the LinkedIn CR badge
LinkedIn's badge has one trigger: a C2PA Content Credentials manifest embedded in the image file. LinkedIn does not check IPTC metadata independently, and there is no known pixel-level classifier — the badge is purely metadata-driven.
This makes LinkedIn the cleanest case: removing the C2PA manifest reliably removes the badge.
What RAIW removes
RAIW strips the full C2PA Content Credentials manifest from the file, along with any other AI provenance metadata (IPTC fields, EXIF generator tags, PNG text chunks). The badge does not appear on images without a C2PA manifest.

Frequently asked questions
- Does RAIW reliably remove the LinkedIn CR badge?
- Yes. LinkedIn's badge is triggered by C2PA Content Credentials only — there is no independent pixel classifier. RAIW strips the C2PA manifest completely, so the badge does not appear on upload.
- Which AI tools embed C2PA in images that trigger the LinkedIn badge?
- ChatGPT (gpt-image-2), Adobe Firefly, Adobe Photoshop Generative Fill, Canva AI, Google Gemini, and most modern AI image generators embed C2PA Content Credentials. RAIW strips them regardless of which tool produced the image.
- Is it free?
- Removing the C2PA Content Credentials is completely free. No account required.
- What image formats?
- PNG, JPEG, and WebP.
No signup required. Visible and metadata removal always free. GPU modes cost $1.49 per image. Supports PNG, JPG, and WebP.
