Adobe Firefly

Remove Adobe Firefly Content Credentials

Adobe automatically applies Content Credentials to assets whose pixels are fully generated with Firefly, such as Text to Image output. Other Firefly workflows may differ, so RAIW checks the uploaded file before removing a supported manifest.

Quick clean includes 3 free removals per IP each day, with Standard output up to 12 MP. Keeping the original resolution above that size or continuing after the daily limit requires paid processing.

What Firefly embeds

  • C2PA Content Credentials - a manifest signed by Adobe recording the image as AI-generated; supported platforms can read it as a provenance signal.
  • EXIF / XMP metadata - including the DigitalSourceType field that marks AI origin.
  • Current profile - RAIW reports the supported signals found in this file. The absence of a recognized pixel signal is not proof that every Firefly workflow lacks one.

How RAIW removes it

The Firefly signals recognized by the current profile are provenance metadata, so RAIW strips the C2PA manifest and supported AI metadata on our backend with Quick clean. It normally preserves the image pixels; Standard output may resize a large file, and a container fallback may re-encode it.

Frequently asked questions

Does removing the metadata change my image?
The recognized provenance tags live in metadata, not in the pixels. Quick clean normally preserves the visible image, but Standard output may resize a large file and a container fallback may re-encode it.
Is it free?
Quick clean removes the supported metadata signals without a GPU. That does not prove that every current or future file lacks another pixel-level signal. Quick clean includes 3 free removals per IP each day, with Standard output up to 12 MP. Keeping the original resolution above that size or continuing after the daily limit requires paid processing.
What image formats are supported?
PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, and HEIC. RAIW processes images, not video.
