Remove Adobe Firefly Content Credentials
Adobe Firefly signs every image it generates with C2PA Content Credentials - a manifest that records the image as AI-made and triggers 'Made with AI' labels on Instagram, Facebook, and X. RAIW strips the manifest and related metadata for free. Firefly uses no SynthID pixel watermark, so there is nothing hidden in the pixels.
What Firefly embeds
- C2PA Content Credentials - a manifest signed by Adobe recording the image as AI-generated; this triggers the 'Made with AI' label on social platforms.
- EXIF / XMP metadata - including the DigitalSourceType field that marks AI origin.
- No pixel watermark - Firefly does not use Google SynthID, so there is no invisible signal in the pixels.
How RAIW removes it
Firefly's provenance lives in the file metadata, so RAIW strips the C2PA manifest and AI metadata instantly on our backend, for free and with no GPU. The image pixels are left untouched - the picture looks exactly the same, just without the Content Credentials.

Frequently asked questions
- Does removing the metadata change my image?
- No. These provenance tags live in the file's metadata, not the pixels, so RAIW strips them without re-encoding or altering the image - it looks exactly the same.
- Is it free?
- Yes. These generators leave their mark in metadata only - there is no invisible pixel watermark to disrupt - so removing it is free, with no GPU.
- What image formats are supported?
- PNG, JPEG, and WebP. RAIW processes images, not video.
No signup required. Visible and metadata removal always free. GPU modes cost $1.25 per image. Supports PNG, JPG, and WebP.
